EIT Jumpstarter 2023 workshops

EIT Jumpstarter is an advanced training program building on pre-accelerator elements for innovators in the raw materials sector. Helping innovators and researchers to build a viable business model around and turn research into innovative product or service, validate it and if the business idea is proven to be sustainable, encourage to register a company.

Why?

Through the EIT Jumpstarter programme, you will have granted access to best-in-class experts, a creative community, advanced know-how, expert trainers, and mentors.

As a graduate of the programme, you will have the skills and knowledge to launch your company, and as part of the alumni community, you will receive further support and dedicated advice from the EIT Communities regarding the next stage of your start-up journey. We introduce graduates to partners, VCs, regulatory bodies and companies that can produce your products, and introduce you to your first buyer or a test site. You will get to experience major innovation hubs in Europe, which is important when you want to enter foreign markets.

Who should apply?

EIT Jumpstarter is suitable for individuals/researchers with innovative business ideas in the raw materials sector who want to gain practical knowledge on running a business and establishing a start-up.

How to get involved?

EIT RawMaterials is organizing an awareness-raising and training event for PhD students and their supervisors on the EIT Jumpstarter program on why the program is beneficial to both groups and how to successfully apply. We believe that most of the research results of a PhD study have greater potential beyond their scientific value and the raw materials sector is looking or these results to solve the most pressing issues that define every day of the sector and through access to raw materials, the life of European citizens.

Both events will be online to ensure easy access while providing exciting, practical and inspirational information. The first event will be held on the 27th of October 2022 and the second event will be held on the 28th of November, 2022. The agenda, timetable and how to register are available here.

We hope that we can welcome you as participants at these small events, tailored to you!
