Final event "Company of the Year 2022" in the Skills for Future programme in Slovenia

EIT RawMaterials (Skills for Future programme), with the support of our RC Adria team, continued the great cooperation with Junior Achievement Europe and its Slovenian branch JA Slovenija in the school year 2021/2022.

Throughout the school year, some 500 students from Slovenian high schools learned a lot about solving entrepreneurial challenges while running their own student companies. Students were encouraged to develop products and solutions for the circular economy.

The programme ended with the final LIVE event, where prizes were also awarded to the three best student companies in the EIT RawMaterials category. The representative of EIT RawMaterials Ligita Baleisyte presented the prizes to:
1st - COPE company: Vertical axis wind turbine and 3D printing filament extruder

2nd - Sleepy pet company: Dog bed made of wood waste and textiles

3rd - LADRFAR company: Foldable wheelbarrow.
