Regardless of whether you are a student or representing a potential hosting organisation, your application itself does not result in an obligation to implement an internship, or any other obligation. Each organisation has the right to terminate its participation in the RIS Internship Programme after application but before signing of the Collaboration agreement, by requesting a removal of its profile webpage from the open Pool of organisations, without any consequences. Also, each applied student has the right to terminate her/his participation in the RIS Internship Programme before the signing of the Internship Scholarship Agreement, by sending a written request to the Programme managers (application withdrawal).

Each organisation applying for the participation in the Programme sends the application only once, thus remaining in the programme until the end of 2024 (unless requested otherwise by the organisation). However, students have to answer the call and apply during the year in which they would like to implement their internship (2022, 2023 and/or 2024). Their application is valid only in the respective year and the internship has to be completed in that same year.

In their application process, students are required to upload certain documents to prove their status as students, their GPA, possible rewards and publications. Submitting these documents in English makes the evaluation of your application much faster and we strongly recommend it. However, if not possible, you can enclose the documents in the official language of the institution that issued them, if the institution is registered in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia, Slovakia or Spain.

Please note that all other information provided in the application form, further communication with the Programme administration, contracting and reporting need to be carried out in English.
